Heirs to His Kingdom: “So that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:7 There are so many people in this world that promise us power and deliverance. But, as many promises are made so many are broken. We constantly scratch our heads and crawl into fear because we lost the idea of who is in control. Don’t you see? Nothing in this world will be forever. Nothing in this world is in comparison to God. He is our King. And we are His heirs.
Heirs From The Beginning: When God created the universe, He created us as well. He created us out of His image. Beautiful, strong, majestic creatures of the living God. Just as an artist marvels over its masterpiece, so did God. He looked at His “Masterpiece” and found it “perfect.” He knew we would be apart of His divine kingdom forever.
As sin infested Adam and Eve’s hearts, God knew we would be separated from Him. Only for a short while. A king has to make sacrifices in order to save his people. He sacrificed the most perfect thing. Jesus willingly accepted His King’s commands and set forth to complete this mission. His sacrifice made us heirs once again. Sin makes us feel like dirty commodores, but God sees us a royalty. How beautiful is He?
Poor to Rich: “Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?” James 2:5
This world makes us feel like we’re nothing. It tries to tie us down with chains of oppression and anguish. But, as the sun rises so will the Son of God. He has made us all heirs to the kingdom He is preparing. As this world mocks you and kicks dirt in your faces, the Lord is holding out His mighty hand, awaiting for you to take ahold of your majestic crown. Forever in eternity with Him.
Forever Praise our King: “and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:6
The trumpets will sound, the angels will rejoice, for the prince and princess of this world have come home. God cannot wait for the days where we trade in our chains for crowns. Where we shed tears of joy instead of sadness. When we no longer feel anxiety, fear, or doubt. We will all be in the glories of Heaven, where we always have belonged. Where we will never be separated from our Creator again. LONG LIVE OUR KING!
